New Year's Eve 2026 will feature music and fireworks displays in various parts of the city.

An unforgettable New Year's Eve. Organized by the Rio de Janeiro City Hall, through Riotur, the 2026 New Year's Eve celebration reinforces the city's vocation as the Capital of Major Events and brings a diverse and free program to different regions. Rio will have a wide network of stages spread across different neighborhoods and zones, ensuring that residents and visitors can celebrate with great joy. 

At the Flamengo Stage, located near Rua Dois de Dezembro, the audience will enjoy a night marked by musical diversity, with singer Joanna, Samba do Trabalhador, a special tribute to Raul Seixas, and the participation of the GRES Unidos de Vila Isabel samba school's drum section. 

At Piscinão de Ramos, in Praça Roquete Pinto, the party brings together names like Sylvinho Blau-Blau, Ana Petkovic, MC Cacau, the groups Siri de Ramos and Balacobaco, as well as the samba of GRES Imperatriz Leopoldinense.

The SESC RJ Penha Stage, on Rua Santo Engrácia, features Michael Sullivan, Dudu Nobre, Purabatucada, and Thais Macedo in its program, concluding with the drum section of GRES Acadêmicos do Salgueiro.

In Sepetiba, the stage set up at Praia de Sepetiba, nº 1886, features attractions such as Caju Pra Baixo, Juninho Thybau, Tília, Darlan, in addition to the presence of GRES Unidos da Tijuca.

The Pedra de Guaratiba Stage, located at Estrada da Matriz, nº 219, features a mix of samba, funk, and pop with performances by Délcio Luiz, MC Bob Rum, Alex Cohen, Marina Júlia, and the participation of GRES Paraíso do Tuiuti. 

On Ilha do Governador, the stage set up on Praia da Bica will host Arlindinho, Roda de Santa Rita, and Mosquito, as well as two major samba schools: GRES União da Ilha and GRES Unidos do Viradouro. 

Finally, the Paquetá stage, on Moreninha Beach, features performances by Marcos Santos, Afromix, the Fogo e Paixão bloco, Ryon Sax, and a participation by GRES Acadêmicos de Niterói.

In addition, the public will be able to witness a sustainable pyrotechnic show at strategic locations such as Flamengo Beach and Penha Church. 

With a diverse program, the Biggest New Year's Eve Celebration in the World reaffirms its commitment to bringing the public a party that values ​​culture, boosts the creative economy, and transforms Rio into a grand stage for celebrating and welcoming the new year.
