Two foreigners are among those awarded the 'Rio Digital Influencer 2025' seal: an Argentinean and an Englishman

The city of Rio already knows the new digital influencers who will receive the 'Rio Digital Influencer 2025' seal. They are, in alphabetical order: @drone.cyrillo, @feandaporai, @girodacarioca, @humbertobaddini, @nicknobrasil, @rioparaargentinos, @rioportodos and @ulysses_padilha. Of the eight chosen, two are foreign: the Argentine @rioparaargentinos and the English @nicknobrasil.

The selection took place online, between April 9 and May 8, and the results are published in this Wednesday's (28) edition of the Official Gazette of the City of Rio.

The 'Rio Digital Influencer' seal is in its third edition and is granted by the City of Rio, through the Municipal Department of Tourism (SMTUR-RIO), to influencers whose work promotes and promotes tourism in the city. Each of the chosen ones has a loyal and engaged audience of at least 100 thousand followers, adding up all the social networks – Instagram, Facebook, Tik Tok, LinkedIn and others – on which they have an account, one of the main criteria for this year's selection.

The winners will not receive any remuneration or financial incentive, but will represent the city in all its actions and publications, and may be invited to participate in events, shows, festivals and other activities of SMTUR-RIO and the City Hall, always acting in a way that promotes and publicizes the city on their networks. The selection notice accepted applications from foreigners for the first time. In addition, candidates had to be over 18 years old and live in Brazil.

– This edition of the 'Rio Digital Influencer' seal shows the maturity of our vision for this work, bringing influencers who have the DNA of the project, work massively to enhance the value of our city and have a great response. They are all passionate about Rio and their content makes anyone, Brazilian or foreign, want to come and visit us – says Daniela Maia, municipal secretary of Tourism.
