This initiative is part of the company's efforts to improve the efficiency of public lighting and increase the feeling of safety in key areas with high pedestrian and vehicular traffic.
With the new lighting, there has been a significant improvement in visibility for those traveling through the region, especially in areas near bus stops and on the access route to the Gentileza Terminal, an important hub for public transportation integration in the city.
"Modernizing the lighting system with LED technology ensures light quality and greater equipment durability, contributing to a safer and more sustainable city," says Rafael Thompson, president of RioLuz.
