Decola Cria is promoting the second edition of the "A River of Opportunities" Fair on August 11th, which aims to connect young people between 15 and 29 years old with companies and organizations that offer job opportunities, professional training, and personal development. The first edition, in October 2025, also took place at Terminal Gentileza – the same location as the next edition – and generated significant impact, with 1.609 young people registered, 675 referred to job openings and vocational courses, and at least 70 young people entering the job market.

In this second edition, which will be held with the support of the Special Secretariat for Youth of Rio de Janeiro (JUVRio), VLT Carioca, SEFRAS, and BrazilFoundation, the expectation is to expand the number of participants and opportunities offered to young people in Rio de Janeiro. The event will offer 3.640 job opportunities, including employment, internships, apprenticeships, and positions for people with disabilities, and 4.194 places in free or fully scholarshipd courses, including professional training and technical courses, both in-person and online. The event's main differentiator is promoting guidance for young people, considering who they are, their desires and potential, and supporting their ability to achieve and make professional choices. Furthermore, the Fair promotes the strengthening of the ecosystem of opportunities, serving as a point of connection between social organizations, public and private actors, and young people in Rio de Janeiro, promoting knowledge, information, and mapping of professional support services and partner companies in the city.

The second edition of the Job Fair will also be held at the Gentileza Terminal, which receives 250 passengers daily from various neighborhoods in Rio de Janeiro, thus increasing the visibility and potential impact of the activity. The Rio de Janeiro Light Rail (VLT Carioca) arrived in 2016, with the aim of connecting central points of the city and the Port Region in a more sustainable way, without the use of fossil fuels and carbon emissions. In 2024, the Gentileza Intermodal Terminal was inaugurated. Sefras – Franciscan Social Action is a civil society organization that works to promote social assistance, defend rights, and include people in vulnerable situations.
