Seop and Municipal Guard set up operational scheme for game between Fluminense and Lanús, at Maracanã

The Municipal Secretariat of Public Order (Seop) and the Rio Municipal Guard (GM-Rio) have set up an operational scheme with 200 agents to manage the game between Fluminense and Lanús (ARG), this Tuesday (23/9), at Maracanã, for the Copa Sudamericana. The teams begin work at 18 pm, focusing on urban planning and traffic control on the main access roads to the stadium, such as Maracanã, Professor Manoel de Abreu and Rei Pelé avenues and Professor Eurico Rabelo and São Francisco Xavier streets.

The operation will be reinforced by special dog teams, Mobile Tactical Unit, Special Operations Unit and municipal guards from units in the region. The Parking and Towing Inspection Coordination, linked to Seop, will operate with tow trucks around Maracanã throughout the match.

There will be no parking areas in the area. Therefore, the Municipal Guard recommends that fans prioritize public transportation. The stadium's surrounding area has train and subway stations (Maracanã and São Cristóvão), as well as several bus lines.
