In addition to identity and CPF, those interested in registering must bring a work card - Roberto Moreyra/SMTE The registration and referral service for professionals seeking job openings offered by partner companies of the Municipal Department of Labor and Income (SMTE) will be open this Tuesday (May 20), from 05 am to 10 pm, on Via A14 1, in Vila dos Pinheiros, in the Maré Complex. The action will take place the day after “Trabalha Rio Hotéis”, in Copacabana.
On Wednesday, once again, SMTE will join the task force led by the Municipal Secretariat for Community Action and will take Trabalha Rio to Estrada do Cacuia 226, in front of the Mundial, on Ilha do Governador. From 10 am to 14 pm, numerous services will be offered by the City of Rio.
On the 23rd, Trabalha Rio will hold two more actions. One at Praça Anhanguá, in Brás de Pina, also at the invitation of the Municipal Secretariat of Community Action, and another at Rua dos Bancários, 979, in Santa Cruz. Both will be held from 10 am to 14 pm.
– Data from the Continuous PNAD, compiled by the Carioca Labor Observatory and released last Friday, show that the labor market in the city of Rio continues to grow. The number of employed people rose from 3.255.000 in the first quarter of 2023 to 3.410.000 in the same period in 2025 -, points out the municipal secretary of Labor and Income, Manoel Vieira.

People without access to the network can also register in person at one of the seven offices of the Workers' Central, at the following addresses: Centro (Av. Presidente Vargas, 1.997, at CIAD); Campo Grande (Rua Coxilha, s/nº); Engenho Novo (Rua Vinte Quatro de Maio, 931); Ilha do Governador (Estrada do Dendê, 2.080); Jacarepaguá (Av. Geremário Dantas, 1.400, rooms 248 and 268); Santa Cruz (Rua Lopes de Moura, 58) and Tijuca (Rua Camaragibe, 25). The offices are open from Monday to Friday, from 8 am to 16 pm.
