Vila Olímpica Clara Nunes offers skateboarding and artistic gymnastics classes

Visit to the Clara Nunes Olympic Village, in Acari - Disclosure / Rio City Hall After the semi-Olympic pool reopened last week, Vila Olímpica Clara Nunes, in Acari, will have two new additions to its activities schedule. Starting in the first week of September, the facility will offer skateboarding and artistic gymnastics classes to its students. Registration is now open and can be done at the village office, from Tuesday to Friday, from 9 am to 11 am and from 14 pm to 16 pm.
– Clara Nunes has strictly followed our priority, which is to offer the greatest number of activities to the greatest number of people. Obviously, this follows a protocol due to the pandemic. But the important thing is for the population to have the option. The pool had already been successfully reopened, and now we have two sports that did well in Tokyo, which were skateboarding and gymnastics – recalls Secretary Guilherme Schleder.
The gymnastics class will be for children between 7 and 15 years old, with classes on Tuesdays and Thursdays, in two groups: 10 am to 11 am and 14 pm to 15 pm. The skateboarding class will be for students over 10 years old, also on Tuesdays and Thursdays, from 16 pm to 17 pm. To register, you must present a copy of your ID; CPF; proof of residence; medical certificate; and proof of school attendance, which is the only exception required for adults who will be skateboarding.
