Knowledge Ship: more than 2,5 places in free technology and entrepreneurship courses

The Municipal Department of Science and Technology (SMCT), through the Naves do Conhecimento, is accepting applications for more than 2,5 vacancies in several free courses in the areas of technology and entrepreneurship. Workshops, workshops and lectures are also available in the program offered in April. The content of the activities offered is focused on preparing students for the job market in the technology area.

– Promoting digital inclusion and technological professional qualification is essential, as we know how the world of work is changing very quickly. We need to retrain people to face the challenge of adapting to this new market – said Tatiana Roque, municipal secretary of Science and Technology.

Technology is becoming increasingly effective in our daily routines. Regardless of the field of activity, those who do not keep up with technological developments end up being at a disadvantage when trying to find a job in the job market.

– After taking the Nave course, everything changed in my life. It helped me turn things around, pursue my goals and become more involved in the field of technology. In less than four months, I was able to start working in the design field – revealed Thaís Marques, 28 years old, a resident of Bangu and a student of the graphic design course at Nave de Padre Miguel.

Among the topics offered by Naves are: Kids IT, Senior IT, Canva, Computer Operator, Cell Phone Photography, Game Development, Programming in Python, Excel, Accounting, 3D Blender, Scratch, People Management, Essential Word, Repair and Printer Maintenance, Game Development, among others.
