Knowledge Ships offer 3 places in free technology and entrepreneurship courses and workshops

There are three thousand vacancies in courses and workshops focused on the areas of technology and entrepreneurship - Rio City Hall

The Municipal Department of Science and Technology (SMCT), through Naves do Conhecimento, has opened registrations for three thousand places in several free courses and workshops in the areas of technology and entrepreneurship for the month of May. The activities will be held in person and aim to prepare young people and adults for the job market.

The Naves act as training and digital inclusion centers for the population, providing practical knowledge for those who wish to grow professionally. Since January of last year, 22.708 certificates have been issued to students of all ages who have passed the courses offered by the units.

– The Naves offer several courses, which serve both digital inclusion and technological qualification. This is essential, because the world of work is rapidly changing and people need to retrain so that we can reduce social inequalities – said Tatiana Roque, Municipal Secretary of Science and Technology.

Among the topics offered by Naves are: Game Development, Practical Typing, Design, Branding, Create your Logo, Essential Word, Setting up your Computer, How to become a Youtuber, Programming Logic in Python, IT, Video Editing with Capcut, Code Club (Scratch), Financial Control, among others.
