Clean Beach Challenge Campaign returns to Piscinão de Ramos this Saturday

After passing through Piscinão de Ramos last week, Praia Limpa Desafio, an awareness campaign by Comlurb that encourages bathers to correctly dispose of waste on the city's beaches, returns this Saturday (16/3) to the traditional leisure area in the North Zone, responding to the many requests for the action to take place again.

The campaign consists of a game with beachgoers, always with music and a lot of good humor. The awareness team challenges beachgoers to throw their waste in the containers provided by Comlurb. Those who agree to participate in the activity and complete the challenge, putting the trash correctly in the bins, receive gifts made especially for the campaign, such as a beautiful reusable bag.

The games are led by the charismatic street cleaner Renato Sorriso and the group Chegando de Surpresa, which is made up of street cleaners who use music in awareness campaigns.

The collaboration of beachgoers is essential to facilitate and speed up the work of the street cleaners when cleaning the beaches, not only by disposing of waste correctly in containers, but also by creating the habit of dismantling the nets where sports are practiced, making it easier for the beach tractors and compact cleaning machines that turn over and remove impurities from the sand.

The Clean Beach Challenge Campaign began this month and will visit several beaches in Rio until the end of March.
