Comlurb anticipates collection on the streets of Engenho de Dentro due to Coldplay concert

Comlurb will bring forward household waste collection in Engenho de Dentro on the days of the Coldplay concert - Rio City Hall

Comlurb is bringing forward the collection of waste from some streets in Engenho de Dentro this Saturday (25/3), due to the concert by the British band Coldplay, at the Nilton Santos Stadium. The service, which was supposed to start at 18 pm, will exceptionally be carried out from 15 pm onwards, on the following streets: Doutor Padilha, Rua das Oficinas, Henrique Scheid and José dos Reis. The same procedure will be carried out next Tuesday (28/3). On Sunday (26/3), the start of the cleaning of the street market on Rua Afonso Ferreira will also be brought forward to 12 pm.

Comlurb has prepared a differentiated operational cleaning plan for the three days of the show: Saturday, Sunday and Tuesday. The company will have 62 street cleaners and seven urban cleaning agents on each of the three days, who will perform sweeping and waste removal services throughout the area surrounding the Nilton Santos Stadium and access roads, with the support of a large sweeper, two mini-sweepers, two compactor trucks, a satellite truck and two water tankers to wash the roads with reused water.
