Comlurb began, this Friday, the operation of the Vila Aliança and Urucânia ecopoints, in the West Zone 

The Vila Aliança recycling center will be open from Monday to Saturday, from 6 am to 18 pm, and on Sundays and holidays, from 6 am to 13 pm - Disclosure

Comlurb delivered two more recycling points to the population of the West Zone this Friday (22/12): Vila Aliança, in Bangu, and Urucânia, in Santa Cruz. The city now has 24 new recycling points installed in 2023 – in 2022 there were another 22. The two locations will be open from Monday to Saturday, from 6 am to 18 pm, and on Sundays and holidays, from 6 am to 13 pm. The Vila Aliança recycling point has three multipurpose boxes for receiving household waste, rubble, useless goods and branches. The Urucânia recycling point has four multipurpose boxes for household waste, rubble, useless goods and branches, in addition to a space reserved for disposing of used tires.

Comlurb is renovating and installing new recycling points in several areas of the city, especially in areas with the highest risk of irregular waste disposal and in communities. In this way, the Company ensures that previously degraded areas now have organized points, with regular removal carried out by trucks. In addition to being essential for organizing waste, recycling points help control vectors and improve public health.
