Comlurb prepares special cleaning operation for Marine Corps Race

Comlurb has prepared a special cleaning operation for the 36th Marine Corps Race and the 16th Navy Intendants Race, events that will be held this Sunday (26/5), starting at 7 am, at Aterro do Flamengo, with the start and finish at the Monument to the Dead of the Second World War. The runners will run along Avenida Infante Dom Henrique until they reach Esporte Clube Guanabara and return to the starting point via the parallel road.

Comlurb's plan includes the presence of nine street cleaners, who will clean the entire race route, including the hydration points. 54 240-liter containers will be made available, distributed in the concentration area and near the hydration points, so that runners and the public can dispose of their waste correctly. A compactor truck will remove the waste.
