Garis from Comlurb are present at the Book Biennial with awareness campaigns through music and theater

Comlurb will be present at the Book Biennial, which runs until the 10th at Riocentro, with two of the Company's projects: the Chegando de Surpresa group, formed by street cleaners who use music in awareness campaigns about the correct disposal of garbage, and Teatro de Portas Abertas, a group that creates playful and humorous plays about caring for the environment. Street cleaner Renato Sorriso will also bring his joy to the fair.

The presentations will be at the Municipal Department of Education stand, on Tuesday (05/09), at 11 am, to promote awareness and respect for the environment using culture, music, theater, good humor and high spirits.

Teatro de Portas Abertas is part of the “Escola Mais Consciente” project, which has already performed in more than 50 units in the city with plays that seek to stimulate children’s interest in protecting the environment so that they become more responsible adults. Another representative of the Company at the event will be the street cleaner writer Valdeci de Souza Boareto, who will present his book “Comportamento que te salva, a vida sob o olhar de um gari que só quer respeito” (Behavior that saves you, life under the eyes of a street cleaner who only wants respect) on Thursday (07/09), also at 11 am, at the SME stand.

Comlurb will also conduct a special cleaning operation of the entire external area of ​​Riocentro and the access roads to the pavilions, during all days of the event. There will be eight street cleaners on duty to sweep and collect waste, four from 7 am to 15 pm and another four from 15 pm to 22 pm. A compactor truck will dispose of the waste generated correctly.
