Every day, more than 200 workers from Comlurb and Conservation take care of the cleaning and maintenance of megaparks, such as Pavuna - Disclosure/ Comlurb

It has a special operation number, but it is nothing more than routine work. To ensure the cleaning and maintenance of Rio's new megaparks, the Municipal Conservation Department and Comlurb frequently mobilize 230 workers for services such as sweeping and cleaning bathrooms, for example.

The excellent service can be seen in the megaparks Rita Lee (Barra da Tijuca), Jornalista Suzana Naspolini (Realengo), Carioca da Pavuna and Parque Oeste (Inhoaíba).

Comlurb has 80 workers at service stations inside the parks to facilitate the logistics of the teams. Daily, in three shifts, during its opening hours (Tuesday to Sunday, from 6 am to 22 pm), there are sweeping services, waste removal, weeding, mowing, tree pruning and washing of bathrooms. The company also maintains the toys and pieces of urban furniture, such as benches and tables.

The Conservation Department has a team of 150 people who carry out periodic inspections to repair the equipment that makes up the furniture, the electrical and mechanical parts of the fountains and water toys, carry out building renovations, clean storm drains, and take care of the landscaped areas.
