The Corridors of Excellence project implements an urban services initiative in Botafogo.

The South Zone Subprefecture, in conjunction with the Botafogo Local Executive Management (GEL), launched another edition of the Corridors of Excellence Program in Botafogo this Wednesday (June 24). The initiative brings together teams and services from different municipal agencies along the entire length of Rua Barão de Itambi, with intensive operation planned until Friday (June 26).

Urban maintenance services will be carried out, such as street cleaning and washing, unclogging drains and sewers, enforcement against illegal parking, tree pruning, public lighting maintenance, and conservation repairs, bringing together various municipal work fronts in the same area.

The action involves the integrated participation of Comlurb (Municipal Cleaning Company), the Municipal Secretariat of Conservation, Rioluz (Municipal Lighting Company), the Municipal Secretariat of Public Order, and the Municipal Guard, with the coordination of the teams and the monitoring of the region's demands through the South Zone Subprefecture.

According to the sub-mayor of the South Zone, Pedro Angelito, the integrated approach ensures greater speed and immediate results in road maintenance.

The Corridors of Excellence program schedule already serves different neighborhoods and communities in the South Zone. Each week, for three days, one street receives concentrated services, based on requests made by the population through the 1746 Call Center and through monitoring carried out by the South Zone Subprefecture teams.
