City of Arts hosts "Better World Festival" with free artistic activities.

The event will feature creative workshops, interactive experiences, and performances by “Gigantes da Lira” and “Intrépida Trupe” - Frederico Vreuls/City Hall The City of Arts, linked to the Municipal Secretariat of Culture, transforms into a large space for encounters, discoveries, and cultural experiences with the second edition of the “Better World Festival,” from May 1st to 3rd. With free activities that combine art, culture, education, and environmental awareness, the program stimulates imagination and thought about the future of the planet and invites the public to immerse themselves in a universe where music, theater, circus, creativity, and sustainability go hand in hand.
On Friday (May 1st), the festival hosts the show “Azul”, a production by Artesanal Cia. de Teatro aimed at children and young people, which addresses Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) from the perspective of Violeta, the sister of the protagonist Azul. Following this, the Tapetes Contadores de Histórias group presents “Sol, chuva e tapete”, followed by Intrépida Trupe and Farra de Brinquedos.
On Saturday (May 2nd), Banda Mirim presents “The Oldest Child in the World”, followed by the Tapetes Contadores de Histórias group. The children's bloco Gigantes da Lira takes over the stage with its circus artists and the Aqualoucos Gigantes. Closing the second day of the event, Grupo Triii, which has been winning over the whole family with the hit “Viro, Vira, Virou”, promises to get children and adults singing and dancing.
On Sunday (May 3rd), the program features Cia Sonharteiros, which will present the show 'Borboletas'. Tapetes Contadores de Histórias will perform “Palavras Andantes” and the show “Mix Dux” will present a selection of the best acts from the Circo Dux company. To close the “Festival Mundo Melhor”, Teatro Mágico will take the stage with the premiere of the show “A primeira cabeça na lua”, combining music, poetry and elements of the circus world.

Admission: free. Tickets for the attractions at the Chamber Theater, the Electroacoustic Hall, and the Ziraldo Municipal Library are free and can be picked up at the City of Arts 1 hour before each event, on a first-come, first-served basis, subject to space availability.
