ISS Law: Cultura goes to Complexo do Alemão to answer questions about registration in public notice

Continuing the mobilization to assist in registrations for notices in the territories, the Municipal Department of Culture will go to Complexo do Alemão this Saturday (14/05) to talk with local cultural agents interested in the Municipal Law of Incentive to Culture – ISS Law.

This year, the Law provides that 30% of sponsorships exceeding R$300 – made by companies or economic groups – must be allocated to projects by cultural producers based in the West and North zones of the city, with the exception of the RA (administrative region) of Barra da Tijuca. In addition, all registered projects must include some action in APs 3, 4 and 5 (North and West zones), in communities and favelas.

The meeting will be held at the Voz das Comunidades headquarters (Rua Engenheiro Manuel Segurado 228, next to the UPA do Alemão), from 9 am to 11 am. To participate, simply register at the link bit.ly/issnoterritorio.

The Municipal Department of Culture has launched a portal for producers and taxpayers of the Municipal Law of Incentive to Culture – ISS Law. The notice and attachments will be available at the following address: portaldoiss.prefeitura.rio. The registration deadline is May 31st.

Who can apply

Initiatives in the areas of visual arts; crafts; audiovisual; libraries; cultural centers; cinema; circus; dance; design; folklore; photography; literature; fashion; museums; music; multiplatform; theater; transmedia and preservation and restoration of natural, tangible and intangible heritage may be registered.
