The Rio City Hall, through the Municipal Department of Culture and the Municipal Council for Cultural Policy, will launch the calls for proposals for emergency aid under the Aldir Blanc Law on September 22 and 24. The online meetings will take place via Zoom at 19 pm and registration is open to all professionals in the cultural sector.
In accordance with the Municipal Culture System – Law No. 6.708, of January 15, 2020, the Secretariat will open a public call for projects in five lines of notices: Awards, Local Actions, Art & School, Ticket Acquisition and Simplified Public Selection for the Promotion of the Arts.
Of the 39 million allocated to the city of Rio, R$21.738.000,00 will be allocated to subsidies, institutions, groups, collectives and entities, and R$17.654.682,90 will be allocated to public calls, notices and awards. The forecast for payment of these notices is the second half of November and the first half of December.
To participate in the web meetings, simply send an email to leialdirblanc.culturario@gmail.com. In the body of the text, include your name, contact phone number and area of expertise. After sending the email, interested parties will receive confirmation with the link to the virtual room on the day of the meeting. The room will be filled on a first-come, first-served basis, with a maximum capacity of 200 people.
