Photo: Disclosure The City of Rio, through the secretariats of Healthy Aging and Quality of Life (Semesqv) and Integrity, Transparency and Data Protection (SMIT), held the event “Pano pra Manga” this Thursday (5/12) at the Museum of Afro-Brazilian History and Culture (Muhcab), in Gamboa.
The event highlighted themes such as sustainability, personal data protection and ancestry, with a diverse program that included a workshop, discussion group and fashion show.
The “Se Liga no Digital” workshop, offered by the SMIT team, clarified doubts about ways to protect information online and avoid scams.
– It was amazing. It helped us a lot. At this age, we have to be aware of everything -, said one of the participants, Mara Lúcia, 70 years old.
Next, the discussion group “Circular Economy, Sustainability and Ancestrality” filled the auditorium with the presence of young and old people. The debate was promoted in partnership with SENAI CETIQT.
The closing was held with the “Pano pra Manga” fashion show, which presented 40 looks created by designer Almir França using reused uniforms from the energy company Enel.
– What I liked most was the fashion show, the models and the clothing. Recyclable material is very important. Very good, very cool -, said another participant in the event, Marcos Nunes, 74 years old.
As a legacy, the event marked the launch of the Personal Data Protection Campaign, which aims to raise awareness among the elderly about the safe use of personal information, which is essential in an increasingly digital world. Information leaflets on the topic were distributed to those present.
