'Pano pra Manga' event open to the public, takes place this Thursday (5/12), at Muhcab - Reproduction/ Rio City Hall

The Secretariats of Healthy Aging and Quality of Life (Semesqv) and Integrity, Transparency and Data Protection (SMIT) are holding the event “Pano pra Manga” this Thursday (5/12) at the Museum of Afro-Brazilian History and Culture (Muhcab) in Gamboa. Open to the public, the event highlights topics such as sustainability, personal data protection and ancestry, with a diverse program that includes a workshop, discussion group and fashion show.

The program begins with the “Se Liga no Digital” workshop, offered by the SMIT team. The activity uses a memory game to address, in a dynamic and interactive way, the protection of personal data and digital security. During the workshop, seniors will be able to clarify doubts and discuss ways to protect their information online and avoid scams.

Next, the discussion group “Circular Economy, Sustainability and Ancestry”, moderated by Camila Costa, will present academic projects and innovative initiatives developed throughout 2024. The debate, promoted in partnership with SENAI CETIQT, will address how sustainable practices and the appreciation of ancestry can contribute to environmental and social solutions.

Another highlight of the event will be the launch of the Personal Data Protection Campaign, which reinforces the importance of raising awareness among the elderly about the safe use of personal information in an increasingly digital world.

The closing event will be the “Pano pra Manga” fashion show, which will feature 40 looks created by designer Almir França using recycled ENEL uniforms. The pieces, transformed into contemporary clothing, will be displayed alongside bags made by SENAI CETIQT students.
