Deodoro Radical Park gains Triathlon Training Protection Area

Triathlon Training Protection Area in Deodoro - Disclosure The Deodoro Radical Park now has a Triathlon Training Protection Area. The APTT was inaugurated over the weekend, ensuring complete safety for athletes when cycling, swimming and running, every Saturday, from 6 am to 9 am.
The event will operate as follows: athletes will use the Olympic canoeing lane for swimming, the APCC Deodoro circuit for cycling and the area around the park for running. The initiative is a partnership between the Municipal Department of Sports and the Cycling Safety Commission of the City of Rio de Janeiro and also has the support of the Cycling Federation of the State of Rio de Janeiro and the Triathlon Federation of the State of Rio de Janeiro.
– With APTT we can provide better quality training for athletes in the three sports involved. And with complete safety, which is essential – says the sports secretary, Guilherme Schleder.
The Deodoro Radical Park also offers a variety of other activities for the public: canoeing, jumping, pilates, ballet fitness, localized fitness, swimming, pole dancing, forró, judo, boxing, MMA, capoeira, futsal, volleyball, handball, basketball, tennis, skateboarding, athletics, bodybuilding, futsal, assisted stretching, assisted walking, muay thai, water aerobics, diving (biweekly) and functional training. Registration can be done at the local office, which is open from Tuesday to Friday, from 8 am to 16 pm. The documents required for those over 18 are copies of their ID, CPF, proof of residence and medical certificate. Minors must present copies of their ID or birth certificate, the ID of the guardian, proof of residence and school statement.
The Deodoro Radical Park is located at Marechal Alencastro Road 1.357, Ricardo de Albuquerque.
