Pedra de Guaratiba Olympic Village opens more than a thousand free spaces for sports practice

Registration begins this Tuesday (25/3) at the local office. All classes are free and the age range for the activities is four years and older.
– This is a great opportunity for those who want to practice physical activity at Vila Olímpica Doutor Sócrates. The place is excellent and has more than 30 modalities available. There are options for all ages, from children to the elderly – recommended the municipal secretary of Sports, Guilherme Schleder.
Available activities include: ballet, ballet fitness, walking, capoeira, functional circuit, running, ballroom dancing, belly dancing, dance mix, football, women's football, footvolley, GAP, localized gymnastics, mix gymnastics, deep water water aerobics, hip hop kids, hip hop teen, jazz, jiu-jitsu, judo, muay thai, weight training, freestyle swimming, swimming, pilates, step, street dance, taekwondo, indoor/sand volleyball and zumba.
Places are limited. Tickets are distributed in two periods: in the morning, from 7am to 9:30am, and in the afternoon, from 16pm to 20pm.
The documents required for registration for those over 18 years of age are copies of their ID, CPF, proof of residence and medical certificate. Minors must present copies of the student's ID or birth certificate, the guardian's ID and CPF, proof of residence, school enrollment document and medical certificate. Only fathers, mothers, grandparents or brothers/sisters of legal age may register minors. It is important to note that the presence of the adult student at the time of registration is mandatory.
