Mato Alto Olympic Village offers 543 free places for sports activities

The Vila Olímpica Manoel José Gomes Tubino, popularly known as “Mato Alto”, in Praça Seca, has 543 vacancies open for various modalities. Registrations can be made in person at the local office from Tuesday to Friday, from 7 am to 17 pm. There are options available for all ages and the classes offered are free.

– The Mato Alto Olympic Village is a landmark in Praça Seca and the surrounding area. It is always very popular. There are several sports activities, all free of charge and with the supervision of highly qualified professionals. It is a unique opportunity – said the municipal secretary of Sports, Guilherme Schleder.

Among the options, there are vacancies for stretching, athletics, ballet, ballroom dancing, futsal, GAP, water aerobics, localized aerobics, children's and adult swimming, pilates, rhythms, TAF, functional training and volleyball.

The documents required for registration for those over 18 years of age are copies of identity card, CPF and proof of residence, in addition to the original medical certificate.

Minors must present copies of their identity card or birth certificate, the ID and CPF of their legal guardian, proof of residence, school statement and original medical certificate (pediatrician, cardiologist or general practitioner). Registration will only be validated if the legal guardian is present.

Students with disabilities must go to the local secretariat and fill out a pre-registration form.

The Mato Alto Olympic Village is located at 2.973 Cândido Benício Street – Praça Seca.
