Service at the Oscar Schmidt Olympic Village - Disclosure The Vila Olímpica Oscar Schmidt, in Santa Cruz, through a partnership with the UniCBE University Center, is offering free services to the general public for nutrition and physiotherapy consultations. Students in the seventh period (nutrition) and eighth period (physiotherapy) are supervised by a professional who has already graduated in the consultations.
– This is yet another benefit that we have been able to bring to society. We already have successful examples at Arena 3 and Parque Radical, in partnership with Unisuam, and now we have signed a partnership with UniCBE as well. In addition to physical activity, this service is always important in everything that involves sports practice and people’s well-being – highlights the municipal secretary of Sports, Francisco Bandeira.
To be eligible for consultations, you must show up at the location with your ID, CPF and a doctor's order. Services are provided on a first-come, first-served basis. On the first day, Tuesday (24/05), 32 people sought nutritional help and 60 made appointments for physiotherapy.
According to the schedule set up by the organization of the Olympic Village, the nutrition area will operate on Tuesdays and the physiotherapy part will be on Wednesdays.
– We are very excited and confident in the proposed organization. With this new partnership we will be able to provide a better quality of life for the population – celebrated the Vila’s manager, Bianca Canedo.
The Oscar Schmidt Olympic Village is located on Estrada do Matadouro s/n, Santa Cruz.
