The Rio de Janeiro City Hall will hold the second edition of the Rio de Janeiro Congress on Public Management on May 22 and 23 at the Museum of Tomorrow. Organized by the João Goulart Foundation Institute, the event will discuss public management based on the themes of leadership, transversality and innovation, valuing the production and intellectual capital of public managers.
The Congress will bring together hundreds of people per day, including managers from the Rio de Janeiro City Hall, employees of the Líderes Cariocas Program, authorities, students, those interested in the topic and representatives from various institutions, from different spheres and places in the country.
The event aims to stimulate efficient processes in Public Management, with innovative strategies and good leadership practices, in addition to providing an environment for exchanges between City Hall managers, students and those interested in the topics discussed, highlighting through the dissemination and appreciation of innovative projects and experiences in management, carried out within the scope of the FJG Institute and the City Hall of Rio.
With a team of experts divided into seminars, lectures and round tables, the event, which in 2022 was a pioneer among the municipalities of the State of Rio de Janeiro, will reinforce the city hall's positioning as a vector for disseminating knowledge, innovation and modernization through high performance in national public management, capable of generating benchmarking for other entities of the Federation.
There will be 10 hours of knowledge focused on public management. Guest speakers will share current topics, and Rio de Janeiro leaders and public managers from the City of Rio will present cases and projects developed for the city, initiatives that involve transversality between agencies, generating public value.
The Congress is organized by the João Goulart Foundation Institute, but has the partnership of relevant entities from our relationship network, with sponsors and institutional partners including the Museum of Tomorrow, Institute of Development and Management, Municipal Secretariat of Culture, Insper and Comunitas.
– The Rio de Janeiro Public Management Congress is a milestone in the dissemination of knowledge about innovation and good public management practices that guide our city. Furthermore, this is the year of the G20, which is an accelerator for the creation of public strategies, highlighted through the experiences of the debates.
