Fundação Rio-Águas has three more licensing services available online

One of the services available is the request for authorization to begin private urban drainage work - Rio City Hall Licensing projects and developments in Rio has become simpler with the new online services made available on the Carioca Digital Portal by IplanRio and the Rio-Águas Foundation. Three more services are now available for citizens to access via electronic petitioning. These are: authorization to begin private urban drainage work; requests for marking non-building strips and marginal protection strips; and requests for approval of grading and storm drain projects. With these services, all licensing procedures carried out by Rio-Águas are now completely digital, without the need to present documents in person.
– Rio-Águas and IplanRio have joined forces to digitalize all licensing services provided by this Foundation. This year, we have made three more services available through electronic petitioning, making 100% of our licensing procedures online – highlighted the president of the Rio-Águas Foundation, Wanderson Santos.
The other services of the Rio-Águas Foundation available for online access are: registration of professionals to present projects for grades and drainage galleries, declaration of possibility of storm sewage, declaration of grade quota and appeal for notification and summons issued by Rio-Águas.
The president of IplanRio, Michell Verdejo, highlights the importance of working together with Rio-Águas to make these services viable through the Carioca Digital portal.
– In this partnership with Rio-Águas, the people of Rio are once again the winners, counting on the agility of the processes. This integrated work facilitates the development of solutions for our city and IplanRio is always available to all other departments of the City Hall so that we can develop technological services together – stated Verdejo.
Electronic Petitioning is a module implemented in Processo.Rio where, through Carioca Digital, citizens can make requests to the City Hall online.
