The Transition Cabinet's last planning workshop focuses on the Future, Economy and Happiness

The last planning workshop of the Rio de Janeiro City Hall Transition Office, held this Friday (13/12), discussed strategic issues for the future of the city, covering the axes of Future, Economy and Happiness. The event, which took place at IMPA Tech, in Porto Maravalley, brought together representatives from several municipal departments, including Environment, Sports, Culture, and Urban and Economic Development.

During the workshop, participants discussed ideas that could be included in the 2025/2028 Strategic Plan. The meeting also addressed ways to incorporate the concept of happiness into public policies, seeking to improve the quality of life and well-being of the population.

The ideas and solutions presented were citizen-centered, with the aim of offering a healthier and more balanced life to the people of Rio. The proposals discussed will be consolidated in a final report.

The Transition Cabinet

The work of the Transition Office of the new municipal government began on December 2 and will continue until the end of the month. One of its main objectives is to initiate the debate of ideas and goals that could be part of the 2025/2028 Strategic Plan.

The new government's Strategic Planning will have as one of its pillars the efficiency of municipal management and is composed of five thematic axes: Fiscal Balance, Good Management and Governance; Civility and Security; Future, Economy and Happiness; Longevity, Equity and Humanities; Infrastructure, Disaster Prevention and Resilience.

The Transition Office is coordinated by Vice Mayor-elect Eduardo Cavaliere. To stimulate debate on initiatives, workshops on the new government's thematic axes have been held under the coordination of the president of the João Goulart Foundation, Rafaela Bastos, and the undersecretary of Planning and Monitoring of Results, Fernanda Mofati.
