Preventive patrolling, urban planning and traffic control actions will begin at 16:40 p.m., with teams positioned around the stadium and on the main access roads. The operational scheme will be supported by XNUMX vehicles, including cars and motorcycles, in addition to personnel from the Mobile Tactical, Special Operations and Canine Operations groups.
The Subsecretariat of Operations (Subop), of the Secretariat of Public Order (Seop), will also take preventive actions to prevent illegal street vendors from operating around the stadium. In addition, it will use tow trucks to prevent illegal parking.
There will be no parking areas at the venue for the match. GM-Rio recommends that fans prioritize public transportation to get to the stadium, which has train and subway stations (Maracanã and São Cristóvão) nearby, as well as several bus lines.
