Guards catch man on top of awning attempting to steal air conditioning unit in Tijuca.
Municipal guards took a 29-year-old man to the 20th Police Station (Vila Isabel) on Monday night, the 27th. According to the officers, he was on top of an awning trying to kick down an air conditioning unit from a commercial establishment on Rua Pereira Nunes, in Tijuca, North Zone of Rio. Upon noticing the arrival of the guards, he tried to flee, but was apprehended and taken to a police station, where the case was registered.
