Municipal guards arrest man who attacked his wife in Guaratiba

The accused was taken to the Campo Grande police station Photo Disclosure / Municipal Guard Municipal guards from the Special Traffic Group (GET) of the West Zone arrested this Monday morning, the 2nd, a man accused of violently assaulting his wife on Estrada do Mato Alto, in Guaratiba, near the BRT station, West Zone of Rio.
The officers were passing through the road when they were called by citizens who reported having seen a man assaulting a woman near the BRT station. Upon arriving at the indicated location, the municipal guards found the accused restrained by an off-duty civil police officer, who managed to restrain him.
The agents then took the attacker to the 35th DP (Campo Grande), where the case is currently being registered, and the victim to the Legal Medical Institute (IML), to undergo a forensic examination.
