Municipal guards from the 6th Inspectorate (Madureira) arrested a 16-year-old man on Sunday (03/44) for sexual harassment against two women on Rua Domingos Lopes, near the BRT station in Campinho, in the North Zone of Rio.
The team was moving along the road when they were called by the victims. Two women who were crying said that, as they passed by the location, they saw the man masturbating and he started calling out to them, also making threats. The guards caught the man still masturbating. When he noticed the officers approaching, he acted violently and tried to take the stun gun from one of the officers.
The man was arrested and taken to the 29th Police Precinct (Madureira), where the incident was registered. While being taken to the police station, he also made threats against the guards and the victims. The action was supported by the BRT Seguro program team.
The incident was recorded for sexual harassment, insult and threats against the victims and also for resistance and contempt against the agents.
