The meeting focused on Avenida Brasil, one of the main axes of mobility and urban development in the capital of Rio de Janeiro. During the debate, the researcher presented an analysis of the formation, evolution, and impacts of Avenida Brasil on the urban configuration of Rio de Janeiro, addressing its influence on the city's expansion, mobility, land use, and the challenges of contemporary urban planning.
This work originates from award-winning academic research conducted by IPP, reinforcing the institution's commitment to the production and dissemination of high-quality knowledge about the municipality.

Held monthly, the Encounters with Authors consolidate the IPP Bookstore as a permanent space for debate, reflection, and rapprochement between scientific production and society. The initiative seeks to encourage reading, value editorial production about Rio de Janeiro, and reaffirm the role of bookstores as environments for education, culture, and the collective construction of knowledge.
