Ocyan Youth House promotes Digital Youth Week with technology classes

The Special Secretariat for Rio de Janeiro Youth (JUVrio) will hold the first edition of the Digital Youth Week at Casa da Juventude Ocyan, located in the Santo Cristo neighborhood, in the city center, from this Monday (10/2) to Thursday (13/2), from 18 pm to 21 pm. Over the course of four days, tutors from JUVRio's technology courses will provide free classes on Drone Operation, Cinematography, Photography and 3D Printing.

In total, 160 places are available, distributed in 40 per day. There is no age limit to carry out the activities, and students will receive a certificate of participation at the end.

The Ocyan Youth House is a training and service center for vulnerable young people aged 15 to 29 in the central region of Rio. Open Monday through Friday, from 9 am to 18 pm, the Youth Houses offer training workshops in various areas such as IT, English, barbering, braiding, makeup, samba, groove, boxing, jiu-jitsu, sign language and more.
