Robotics, Advanced Industry and Mobile Programming courses have 660 vacancies open in Youth Spaces

Registration is now open for 660 places on free courses in Industry 4.0, Mobile Programming, Advanced Industry and Robotics in Youth Spaces, offered by the Special Secretariat for Rio de Janeiro Youth (JUVrio). The technological innovation environments have already trained 838 young people aged 15 to 29. Classes will be held at the Estácio, Cidade de Deus and Vigário Geral units between April and May, with classes divided between morning, afternoon and evening shifts.

To enroll in the courses, simply access the social media from the Youth Department. The Youth Space of Vigário Geral has open registrations until this Friday (21/4) for 150 spots in the Robotics class. Classes will be held between Monday (24/4) and May 8. Residents of Cidade de Deus will be able to enroll in Advanced Industry until Monday (24/4). There are 150 spots, with classes between Monday (24/4) and May 5. At Estácio, the opportunities are for Industry 4.0 and Mobile Programming until Monday (24/4), with classes from Monday to May 25 and Monday to May 26, respectively.

Participants will be able to participate in the courses from 8:10 a.m. to 10:15 a.m.; 12:15 a.m. to 13:30 p.m.; 15:30 p.m. to 15:45 p.m.; 18:19 p.m. to 21:XNUMX p.m. and XNUMX:XNUMX p.m. to XNUMX:XNUMX p.m. At the end of the training, everyone will receive a certificate of completion. Salvino Oliveira, Rio's Youth Secretary, is a resident of Cidade de Deus and has closely followed the arrival of the Youth Spaces courses for young people from the outskirts and favelas.

– We created the Youth Spaces to bring Industry 4.0 closer to young people who had never dreamed of working in this field because they were unfamiliar with it or thought that this market was not for them. The Youth Space is a place for creation and innovation to stimulate skills and talents, ensuring the professionalization of young people, taking many of them out of total unemployment and offering something that could be the beginning of a new journey. And, in this way, we continue to generate opportunities and promote social transformation for the youth of Rio de Janeiro – highlighted Salvino Oliveira.

In Advanced Industry, students will understand the concepts and pillars of this field of knowledge and the paths to adapt to the new reality of the job market. From the manufacturing of a product, it will be possible to simulate the insertion of intelligence and connectivity into industrial products. Robotics classes provide students with an immersion into the world of collaborative robotic cells, with the goal of integrating networked robots with other automation systems. All of this in a sustainable way. In Mobile Programming classes, students will study the Internet of Things, evaluating and understanding the application of internet connection and automation.

Since their inauguration, the Youth Spaces have already opened classes for classes in Game Design, 3D Printing, Drone Operator, Robotics, Advanced Industry and Mobile Programming. The Youth Space also offers guidance for the job market, with qualified teachers and exclusive teaching material.
