Youth Centers are opening registrations for 3,5 places for the month of April.

Registration is open until March 31st for 3.500 places in free courses offered by Espaços da Juventude, an initiative of the Rio de Janeiro Municipal Youth Secretariat (JUVRio). The opportunities are aimed at young people aged 15 to 29 living in the city of Rio de Janeiro, with classes scheduled to take place throughout April.

Those interested can register for training in Graphic Design, Artificial Intelligence, Business Computing, Drone Operation, Social Media, 3D Printing, and Digital Game Creation. The courses are offered at the seven Youth Spaces locations in Estácio, Cidade de Deus, Madureira, Vigário Geral, Jacarezinho, Vargem Pequena, and Campo Grande.

To participate, simply access the social media From the Rio de Janeiro Youth Secretariat, follow the registration instructions. All courses offer free learning materials and certification.

New Graphic Design course

This month's highlight will be the Graphic Design course. Initial classes are open at the Estácio, Vigário Geral, Madureira, and Jacarezinho campuses. Students will learn the fundamentals of visual communication and the creation of digital pieces, developing creative and technical skills geared towards the digital environment. Throughout the activities, participants will be exposed to basic design principles and learn to use accessible graphic creation tools, applying their knowledge to the production of visual content for different contexts, especially for social media and personal or professional projects. At the end of the course, students will be encouraged to develop and present a graphic design project that integrates the knowledge acquired during the training.

Youth Centers have become training hubs focused on new technologies and professions of the future. In addition to professional training, these public facilities also offer a welcoming, air-conditioned, and inclusive environment, designed especially for young people from different parts of the city who seek to expand their job market opportunities.
