Youth Secretariat registers for 3.500 places in Robotics and Game Design courses

The Special Secretariat for Youth in Rio de Janeiro (JUVrio) is accepting applications until May 30 for 3.500 places on the Robotics and Game Design courses. Classes will be held in the morning, afternoon and evening shifts throughout the month of June at all seven Youth Spaces units: Estácio, Madureira, Cidade de Deus, Vigário Geral, Vargem Pequena, Jacarezinho and Campo Grande. To register, simply fill out the form available on the secretariat's social networks.

In less than two years, the Youth Spaces have already trained more than 10 young people for the professions of the future. In a welcoming, inclusive and fully technological environment, young people aged 15 to 29 learn how to use the tools and knowledge most in demand in the innovation job market. Each unit offers 250 places per course, with monthly classes. All courses at the Spaces have a certificate of completion.

 

Robotics and Game Design

In the Robotics course, students will immerse themselves in the world of collaborative robotic cells and learn how to integrate networked robots with other automation systems. All of this in a sustainable way.

In Game Design, students will be introduced to the world of digital programming. In the classroom, students will learn about the types of games and delve into the history of consoles. At the end of the course, a game will be developed among classmates.

 

Youth Spaces

Youth Spaces regularly offer vacancies for other training courses as well: DJ, Advanced Industry, Drone Operation, 3D Printing, Digital Media, Business IT and Mobile Programming.

Recognized as a hub for practicing new technologies and developing new ideas for the job market, in Youth Spaces young people are encouraged to create solutions that can transform the way we consume and work, with guidance from teachers and exclusive teaching material.
