BRT: Penha II station stop module returns to operation after renovation

The Penha II parador module was renovated - Rio City Hall Mobi-Rio announces the reopening of the Penha II station's bus stop module, after renovations completed this Saturday (17/09). The express module, hit by a fire in 2021, had already undergone structural renovations and has been operating since September 2. Of the 125 stations in the BRT system, 67 have been remodeled since March 2021.
The renovation of Penha II followed the pattern previously adopted in other BRT system stations, replacing glass doors with hollow steel plates. Other changes include built-in wiring and doors with automatic locks and armored mechanisms.
