Notre Dame Station is the 110th to be renovated in the BRT system

Mobi-Rio reports that Notre Dame station, on the Transoeste corridor, is the 110th station to be renovated since March 2021, when the Rio City Hall took over management of the BRT system. With the end of the works on Wednesday night (19/04), it was reopened to passengers.

Improvements to the station include replacing glass panels and doors with hollow steel sheets, built-in wiring and armored door mechanisms. The following services were also carried out: internal and external painting, new electrical installations and improved lighting.
