Mobi-Rio informs that the Paulo Malta Rezende station, in Barra da Tijuca, was reopened in the early afternoon of this Wednesday (28/9) after undergoing renovations. It is the 70th revitalized station in the BRT system since March 2021.

It was remodeled following the standards adopted in the others, with the replacement of glass doors with hollow steel sheets. Other changes include built-in wiring and doors with automatic locks and armored mechanisms.

Still under construction, the Riviera station, also in Barra da Tijuca, will be reopened by the end of this week. Renovations at the stations will only resume next Monday (3/10).
