Rio City Hall took over management of the BRT system in March 2021 - Disclosure Mobi-Rio reports that the Santa Eugênia station, on the Transoeste corridor, is the 111th to be renovated since March 2021, when the City of Rio took over management of the BRT system.
Improvements to the station include replacing glass panels and doors with hollow steel sheets, built-in wiring and armored door mechanisms. The following services were also carried out: internal and external painting, new electrical installations and improved lighting.
