Mobi-Rio announces operation of BRT system on Sunday, election day

Passengers using the BRT will be able to make up to three trips using the Bilhete Único Carioca - Archive/City of Rio Mobi-Rio informs that, next Sunday (2/10), election day, the BRT system's articulated bus fleet will operate as on weekdays. In addition, occasional services SE01 (Santa Cruz x Alvorada), SE02 (Mato Alto x Alvorada), SE03 (Pingo D'Água x Alvorada), SE05 (Madureira x Alvorada) and SE06 (Penha x Alvorada) will operate between 7 am and 18 pm. The objective is to serve passengers traveling to polling stations.
The stations that are still being renovated (Paulo Malta Rezende and Riviera) will be reopened this week, totaling 71 remodeled since March 2021. Work on the stations will only resume from next Monday (3/10).
