Driver makes prohibited turn on the BRT track and causes accident with Civil Police car
Mobi-Rio reports that a passenger vehicle made an illegal turn and collided with a Civil Police car that was traveling on the BRT lane. The accident occurred on the morning of this Friday (31/3), near the Barra Shopping station, heading towards the South Zone. The accident blocked the BRT lane for a period of time.
This year alone, 40 collisions were recorded on BRT corridors caused by drivers of passenger cars and motorcyclists. The majority of these (26) were caused by illegal turns.
