This Friday (July 17th) and on the following days, the 24th and 31st, from 10 am to 2 pm, there will be lectures with veterinarians, educational activities, an adoption campaign, microchipping, and vaccination for dogs and cats. These free events are promoted by the Municipal Secretariat for Animal Protection and Defense (SMPDA).
For microchipping and rabies vaccination, tickets will be distributed on a first-come, first-served basis. The SMPDA (Municipal Secretariat for Animal Protection and Welfare) will also be bringing caramel-colored dogs sheltered at the Model Farm up for adoption. The campaign activities will conclude on July 31st, National Dog Day. This date was created to honor mixed-breed dogs and promote responsible adoption.
