The Rio City Hall, through the Municipal Secretariat for Development, Employment and Innovation (SMDEI), has a new service at the popular restaurant in Campo Grande.
The unit will now serve breakfast on weekends and has new opening hours.

Municipal Guard opens adoption campaign for five dogs that were retired
The Municipal Guard is looking for a new home for five dogs that have been retired from work and is running a campaign to find volunteers who can provide the animals with affection and a well-deserved rest. Those interested in adopting one of the dogs can contact the Guard Dog Group (GCG) by email: canilguarda@gmail.com or by phone 3234-1057, from 9am to 16pm.

Rio City Hall holds a week of fun and art to celebrate Children's Day
The Municipal Department of Culture has prepared a series of special programs for Children's Day. Theater, circus, storytelling and lots of clowning around are among the activities that promise to liven up the week for the little ones, online and in person, respecting the Golden Rules imposed by the municipality at this time of resumption of economic activities.

Inclusion of 20 social entrepreneurs at the Lavradio Fair
The Municipal Secretariat for Development, Employment and Innovation (SMDEI) managed to include 20 social entrepreneurs in the Lavradio Fair, an initiative of Polo Novo Rio Antigo, which is part of the Polos do Rio program, by SMDEI, a municipal public policy for the development of Rio's neighborhoods.
The proposal is to open up space and include artisans and exhibitors who have never had the opportunity to work at that point of sale.

Municipal Health Department updates number of beds for Covid-19 and occupancy rate in the capital's SUS network
The Municipal Health Department reports that the municipal network is currently carrying out the absolute majority of Covid-19 care, as state and private hospitals have closed beds dedicated to treating the disease.
It is also important to highlight that the City of Rio is the only one that maintains a field hospital – the one at Riocentro – in operation, since units from other spheres did not even reach full operation – and that, recently, private partnerships with the government of the State of Rio demobilized field hospitals.

Closures on BRT Transbrasil from Thursday (08/10)
CET-Rio informs that starting Thursday (October 08th) Av. Brasil will be closed to facilitate Transbrasil services. No impact on traffic is expected, as the interventions will take place during the night.

Comlurb promoted more special cleaning operations in communities
Comlurb carried out more special sanitation operations this Wednesday (07/10) in several communities in the city. The initiative, which began in Rocinha on 9/4 and aims to reduce the risk of contamination by the new coronavirus, has already been extended to all 633 communities in the city. The cleaning is done with recycled water and neutral detergent, and hypochlorite in the sprayers.
