Workshop is held at the Youth Space - Laryssa Lomenha/JUVrio

The Special Secretariat for Youth in Rio de Janeiro (JUVrio) will hold the inclusive workshop “Connecting Worlds: Libras and Technology in Digital Communication” next Monday (17/2), starting at 9 am, to promote knowledge about Brazilian Sign Language and the world of Industry 4.0. The event will be held at the Estácio Youth Space, located at the exit of the neighborhood's subway station, in the city's Central Zone.

There are 60 spots available for interested parties, divided into 30 for the morning shifts – from 9am to 12pm – and another 30 for the afternoon shift – from 14pm to 17pm. The workshop has no age limit and registration will be done on site. You only need to present your CPF to register.

The class will be taught by tutors from the public JUVRio facility, which has already trained more than 26 thousand young people in courses in Social Media, Drone, Robotics, 3D Printing, DJ, Mobile Programming, IT for Business, Advanced Industry and Game Design.

The Youth Spaces are welcoming, inclusive and fully technological environments, where young people aged 15 to 29 learn how to use the tools and knowledge most in demand in the innovation job market. Each unit offers 250 free places per course, with monthly classes. In addition to the Estácio unit, JUVRio has the project in Cidade de Deus, Jacarezinho, Madureira, Vargem Pequena, Vigário Geral and Campo Grande.
