City Hall trains employees of the Museum of Tomorrow

The Rio de Janeiro City Hall, through the Undersecretariat of Health Surveillance, trained employees of the Museum of Tomorrow, in the Port Zone of Rio, on Tuesday morning (August 25), for the safe return of leisure activities at the site, initially scheduled for Phase 08 of the Resumption Plan. The return, however, may be changed according to the monitoring of the Covid-6 contagion curves, carried out by the Scientific Committee.

The group of 35 people received training on the importance of practicing the Golden Rules and other measures to prevent COVID-19. During the class, technicians from the Superintendence of Education and Projects (Sipe) of the department linked to the Municipal Health Department provided guidance on the mandatory use of masks and hand hygiene with soap and water or, when this is not possible, with 70% alcohol gel.

Another recommendation was about the importance of adopting measures to avoid crowds, such as a minimum distance of two meters between people.

— These trainings are essential to help these employees implement preventive measures against Covid-19. They are safety standards to prevent contamination of both employees and visitors to these locations — highlights veterinarian Márcia Rolim, deputy secretary of Health Surveillance of Rio.

Just like the Museu do Amanhã task force, the Health Surveillance Agency has already trained employees of Rio Star, the largest Ferris wheel in Latin America; the Rio City Council, among others. The course is part of the program promoted by Sipe since March with a focus on preventing and combating the new coronavirus. In almost five months, more than 20 thousand professionals from various sectors of commerce in general have been trained.
