Starting this Tuesday (13), the Municipal Health Department is promoting a series of actions in different parks in the city, focusing on disease prevention and promoting well-being. The activities are part of the Holidays in the Parks project, an initiative of the Rio City Hall that seeks to occupy public spaces with free activities, combining leisure, citizenship and health and encouraging the adoption of healthy habits during the school break.

The SMS (Municipal Health Secretariat) actions include vaccination, distribution of informational materials, and educational activities on oral health, healthy eating, arbovirus prevention, and traffic accident prevention. The program runs until the 30th, from 8 am to 12 pm, except for January 20th, the São Sebastião holiday.
