Find out what the restrictions are in public spaces according to the level of Covid-19 contamination

Map of Covid-19 contamination according to Administrative Region - Illustration/City of Rio Every week, the City Hall will release a Covid-19 Epidemiological Bulletin for the city, prepared by the new Emergency Operations Center – COE Covid-19 Rio. The survey shows the distribution of cases across the 33 Administrative Regions (RAs) of the city, revealing those where the accumulated numbers of the disease are higher or lower.
The bulletin divides the contamination levels into three: moderate, high and very high. The restrictions will be applied in accordance with a joint resolution between the City Hall and the state government. Thus, the population is allowed access to public spaces as long as:
MODERATE
1- Compliance with permanent protective measures: use of mask and hand hygiene
2- Social distancing of 2 meters or 1 meter with risk mitigation must be respected, where 2m is not feasible
3- It is mandatory to extend opening hours
HIGH
1- Compliance with permanent protective measures: use of mask and hand hygiene
2- Audience limitation to 1/2 of the space's capacity
3- It is mandatory to extend opening hours
VERY LOUD
1- Compliance with permanent protective measures: use of mask and hand hygiene
2- Audience limitation to 1/3 of the space's capacity
3- It is mandatory to extend opening hours
4- Entry is prohibited for people over 60 years of age and/or in a clinically vulnerable situation.
