Mobile unit offers resume registration and referrals for job interviews - Press release/SMTE The Trabalha Rio van, a program of the Municipal Secretariat of Labor and Income (SMTE) of the Rio de Janeiro City Hall that publicizes job openings, will be in the neighborhoods of Campo Grande, São Cristóvão, Jardim Guanabara, and Ilha do Governador from February 2nd to 6th. The mobile unit will assist those interested in registering their resumes in the Secretariat's job bank and scheduling job interviews, always from 10 am to 2 pm.
The mobile unit will begin its weekly service in Campo Grande on Monday, the 2nd, at the Glorinha Community Kitchen, located at Rua Jornalista Gastão de Carvalho, 303. On Tuesday, the 03rd, the van will be in Barreira do Vasco, in São Cristóvão, at Praça Carmela Dutra, s/nº. On Thursday, the 5th, Trabalha Rio will offer the program's services to residents of Jardim Guanabara, at the Estrela do Amanhã Social Center, located at Rua Alcides Franco, 175. Friday, the 6th, service will be at the Carioca Di Leontina Community Kitchen, located at Rua Mita, 115, in Jardim Carioca, Ilha do Governador.
The Trabalha Rio mobile service makes life easier for job seekers, as it avoids unnecessary travel and expenses, explains the Acting Municipal Secretary of Labor and Income, Florentino Cerqueira Azevedo: “The program brings job opportunities to those interested. With the mobile unit, those interested have access to the mobile office in their own neighborhood or a nearby one, to register their resume in the SMTE's job bank or schedule a job interview to apply for open positions in the city.”
Forms of service
Those interested in registering their resumes in the SMTE job bank should go to the service locations with their identity document, CPF (Brazilian tax identification number), work permit, PIS (Brazilian social security number), and resume. Those who cannot go to the locations where the mobile unit will be can register online via the following link: https://bit.ly/Cadastro_Currículo_SMTERegistration can also be done in person at the Central do Trabalhador offices, which are open Monday through Friday, from 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM, at the following locations: Centro (CIAD – Centro Integrado de Atenção às Pessoas com Deficiência), located at Av. Presidente Vargas, 1.997; Campo Grande, located at Rua Coxilha, s/nº; Engenho Novo, located at Rua Vinte e Quatro de Maio, 931; Ilha do Governador, open to the public at Estrada do Dendê, 2.080; Jacarepaguá, operating at Av. Geremário Dantas, 1.400, rooms 248 and 268; Santa Cruz, located at Rua Lopes de Moura, 58; and Tijuca, located at Rua Camaragibe, 25.
